We had a brilliant day yesterday, the volunteers were so welcoming and looked after us so well.
The Blitz is such an example of the very best in community spirit and everything that is good about the GAA.

As one of your neighbours I just want to say it was incredibly well organised and ran .It was very obvious the amount of work and planning that went into it .It was great to hear all the kids having fun (I could hear them singing along to George Ezra from my kitchen ) I really hope someone takes notice and a main sponsor comes forward and secures future events the girls can sometimes be overlooked when it comes to sports so this event is that little bit more special 😊. I had wanted to try and catch you in person to say thanks for arranging first aiders help with our parent who took a turn on the way to the blitz. Very professional and a great peace of mind. You’ll be happy to hear she’s home after spending a few hrs in hospital getting checked out.

Fair play Frank, to you and all those who were involved in the 2024 Blitz. The Monaleen u8 Cats, Tigers and Lions had an amazing day on Saturday that will certainly live long in the memory. Such a well run event with a great sense of community involved. Everyone we met was so helpful and delighted to welcome teams to Passage. The really hard work in the organising of everything from the pitches to the referees to the timing, everything went like clockwork…. We can’t wait for 2025 and beyond to be involved again.
